Gabrielle Karl
Attorney
Gabrielle Karl is a graduate of Ohio University and Willamette University College of Law. She joined Surdyk, Dowd & Turner in 2023 after moving back home from Oregon.
Gabrielle was admitted to the practice of law in 2014 and has over six years of experience as a trial lawyer in public criminal defense. She is experienced in the courtroom and has had a number of jury and bench trials resulting in acquittals. Prior to her time as a public defender, Gabrielle worked as a research attorney in death penalty cases both at the trial and appellate level. During law school, Gabrielle served as founder and editor-in-chief of the Willamette Environmental Law Journal. Gabrielle now focuses her practice on defending political subdivisions and their employees.
